Data centers in Tabuk Province: 1 project mapped
Tabuk Province's data center is being built at Oxagon, the industrial port city of Neom, on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast. Neom and DataVolt, a Riyadh-based developer, signed a $5 billion deal at the LEAP conference in February 2025 for a 1.5-gigawatt campus there, to run on Neom's wind and solar power.
On August 31, 2026, Neom announced DataVolt had broken ground on the campus's 360-megawatt first phase; HUMAIN, the Public Investment Fund's AI company, is jointly developing 100 megawatts of that phase, due in 2028. "Construction is underway, 100MW is moving forward," HUMAIN chief executive Tareq Amin said. DataVolt has not named its customers or disclosed contract values.
The land is home to the Huwaitat tribe, at least 20,000 of whose members faced eviction, DCD has reported. No source read said how much water or cooling the campus would use, beyond the developers' description of "innovative cooling." Tonomus, a Neom company, opened an earlier, smaller data center at Neom in July 2023.
