AdaniConneX, the Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX joint venture, opened its Chennai 1 data center at SIPCOT IT Park in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, in November 2022. The first phase offered 17 MW of IT load, while 33 MW is the planned full capacity, not the amount the opening announcement said was operating.
The company said the campus could use up to 100% renewable energy and described seven layers of physical security.
