BluSky AI data center, Delta, Utah

BluSky AI, a modular data center company, signed a non-binding letter of intent in 2025 to buy 25 acres with up to 50 megawatts of power inside Creekstone Energy's Delta Gigasite, about 9 miles southeast of Delta in Millard County, Utah. Creekstone named BluSky one of the Gigasite's first major tenants, planning to install modular data centers there for AI computing. BluSky said it expected to finalize the purchase in the fourth quarter of 2025 and projected groundbreaking in late 2026.

"This isn't just a land deal, it's a sign that Utah is ready to lead," Creekstone CEO Buford Ray Conley said when the tenancy was announced. Millard County had already changed the zoning and issued the conditional use permit for Creekstone's 1,143-acre campus around the Gigasite in summer 2025. The county has not said whether BluSky's 25 acres need a separate approval of their own.

BluSky was a mining company called Inception Mining until it rebranded in April 2025, and it has been selling off its Clavo Rico gold mine in Honduras. Its chief executive, Trent D'Ambrosio, previously worked with RackScale Data Centers, a company Data Center Dynamics reported never delivered any data centers. BluSky has also signed a ground lease option on 51.6 acres in Milford, Utah, and a letter of intent to lease two acres in Wells, Nevada.

In May 2026 BluSky launched a Regulation A+ offering to raise money for what it calls a network of more than 10 AI Factory sites with over 200 megawatts of potential capacity, and the offering did not name Delta. Its 2026 investor page lists Utah properties only as "North, UT" and "Southwest, UT," with none identified as Delta. Nothing has appeared since 2025 on whether the Delta purchase closed.
