Brush Mountain Data Center runs a colocation and cloud computing facility in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg, Montgomery County, Virginia. A division of Advanced Logic Industries, it has served businesses from the site since 2012, renting rack space with redundant power, cooling and fiber connections alongside private cloud, backup and disaster recovery services.

The company markets itself to small and mid-sized businesses rather than the large campuses most of this site tracks. "We're not a distant hyperscaler. We're your neighbors in the New River Valley, reachable by phone, accountable for uptime, and invested in your success," its website says. It does not publish the size of its facility or how much power it uses. Both Brush Mountain and its parent company have long been tenants of the research park, which lets other tenants buy its services at special rates.

The company has worked with Virginia Tech graduate engineering students on a cooling strategy meant to cut power use, according to the research park, which said Brush Mountain chose the location for the power and internet bandwidth available through the university's network.
