China Mobile International Hong Kong (Tseung Kwan O Global Network Center) data center, Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, Hong Kong

China Mobile International operates this data center, its global network center at 3 Chun Cheong Street in the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, Hong Kong, which opened in November 2014. The data center covers about 9,700 square meters of land with roughly 24,000 square meters of floor space and had 1,920 equipment racks online at opening. It is China Mobile's largest international network center and the first cable landing station built outside mainland China by a Chinese carrier.

The site works as a cable landing station, global network operations center and internet data center, carrying services such as IP transit, mobile roaming and cloud computing for China Mobile's international customers. Dr. Tiger Lin, then chairman of China Mobile International, said the center "strengthens the position of Hong Kong as the global communications hub."
