China Mobile International's Singapore data center opened in July 2019 at Tai Seng Industrial Park in the eastern part of the city, about a year after it broke ground. The six-story building holds more than 2,100 equipment racks across about 17,490 square meters of floor space, and it was China Mobile International's second data center outside mainland China after Hong Kong.
The facility runs on a 2N backup power system with 15 minutes of battery power and N+1 diesel generators holding 24 hours of fuel, and it earned Singapore's top IMDA-BCA Green Mark Platinum rating. It connects to undersea cables including SJC, APG and SJC2, and chairman Li Feng called it "a significant step forward to bring together our global IDC network."
