Khazna Data Centers (G42) data centers: 14 sites mapped

Khazna Data Centers is the United Arab Emirates' largest data center provider, controlling more than 70 percent of the country's operating capacity and hosting servers for Google, Amazon and Microsoft, Rest of World reported in 2025. It took its current shape in 2021 when it merged with the data center businesses of the Abu Dhabi AI company G42 and the telecom group e&. In 2025 e& sold its stake to G42, the majority owner, for $2.2 billion, and the firms MGX and Silver Lake took undisclosed minority stakes.

Khazna is expanding abroad. It is developing up to 200 megawatts of AI-ready capacity on land it bought in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and building a 100 megawatt AI data center near Ankara, Turkey. "Despite its size and strong GDP, Turkey remains significantly underserved in hyperscale infrastructure," said chief strategy officer Johan Nilerud. It also has a site under construction in Kenya and is closing in on a $250 million data center in Egypt.

Its largest project is Stargate UAE, a 1-gigawatt AI cluster Khazna is building in Abu Dhabi with OpenAI, Oracle, Nvidia, Cisco and SoftBank, anchoring a planned 5-gigawatt AI campus. More than 5,000 workers were on site as of December 2025; Mubadala's chief executive, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, said the first 200 megawatt phase would be ready "at some point in the third quarter" of 2026, with the full 1 gigawatt built within three years. The US has authorized exports to G42 of up to 35,000 of Nvidia's Blackwell chips.
