TierPoint's biggest investment in Pennsylvania is TekPark, the former AT&T and Bell Labs campus at 9999 Hamilton Boulevard in Breinigsville, outside Allentown. The company had leased the data center there since acquiring Xand in 2014, then bought the whole nine-building, 137-acre campus in October 2025, paid for with a new $240 million securities issue. The existing data center runs about 122,000 square feet and 16 megawatts of power, and TierPoint has started a 100-megawatt expansion it expects to finish in the second half of 2026, adding around 100 jobs.
TierPoint also runs operating data centers in Bethlehem and Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, the other two sites tracked here. The St. Louis company operates about 40 data centers in 18 US markets nationwide, mostly in smaller cities, but only these three Pennsylvania sites appear on this list.
In May 2026 Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection opened comment on a stormwater permit for PPL Electric's Tek Park Transmission Line Project, a new overhead power line connecting a customer substation for the expansion to the grid. The notice said the line needs seven new structures, disturbs 6.7 acres and affects the Little Lehigh Creek, which is classed as high-quality water. No hearing was scheduled, though one could be requested.
