Iron Mountain Phoenix AZP-3 (Van Buren) data center, Phoenix, Arizona

Iron Mountain is building a third data center, AZP-3, on its Phoenix campus near 48th Street and Van Buren Street, east of downtown Phoenix. The building is planned at 36 megawatts of power and 230,000 square feet and is currently in planning, with no completion date announced, according to Iron Mountain's own site. It joins two data centers already running on the same 39-acre campus, AZP-1 and AZP-2, which together have 89 megawatts of capacity.

AZP-1 and AZP-2 run on power matched by 100 percent renewable sources and were North America's first data centers with BREEAM design certification. The full campus has more than 1 million square feet of space, with room to keep growing.
