Skybox Hutto PowerCampus Data Center, Hutto, Texas

The Skybox PowerCampus at Hutto, in Williamson County, Texas, is under construction on 159 acres inside a 1,400-acre megasite, developed by Skybox Datacenters with Prologis and is the furthest-along and one of the largest data center projects in the county. Hutto's council approved preliminary annexation, a municipal services agreement for water, wastewater and waste collection, and light industrial zoning on 224 acres on Highway 79 on June 15, 2023; Prologis vice president JC Witt said "the city of Hutto is very attractive for its strong workforce, prime location and pro-growth mindset." On July 20, 2023 the council added a tax agreement exempting half the taxable value of the campus's personal property for ten years, against a minimum $100 million investment; Skybox has put its intended capital investment at $10 billion for 3.9 million square feet across six buildings drawing 600 megawatts of power.

Power comes from two private 300-megawatt substations beside a 345 kV transmission line, with buildings designed at 24, 48 or 72 megawatts; the largest is three stories and 700,000 square feet. Skybox and Prologis are now planning a second campus of about 140 acres immediately west of the first, and have separately asked Round Rock to rezone land for another Skybox data center on Old Settlers Boulevard.
