Tencent Cloud, the international arm of the Chinese internet group Tencent, has 11 sites on this list, nine of them in China and one each in Germany and Saudi Arabia; ten are operating and one, in Changsha, has no stage listed. In August 2026 the company said it would open a cloud region in Johor, Malaysia, with up to three availability zones, two live within the same week; that site has no row here yet. Tencent also names a cloud region in Toronto among its North American sites, which likewise has no row here.
The Saudi Arabia region, in Riyadh, opened in early 2025 with two availability zones and serves customers including the food delivery firm Keeta. In Indonesia, the telco XLSMART finished moving 60 core applications, 1,200 microservices and 15TB of data onto Tencent's cloud platform in June 2026, a four-and-a-half-month project completed with help from Tencent's AI tools.
Chief executive Dowson Tong said in January 2026 the company was "actively" exploring building in the Middle East beyond Saudi Arabia, telling CNBC, "We do intend to increase our investment in the region and establish a stronger partnership network. And that's all in the plan." He would not name countries or give a timeline beyond twelve to eighteen months.
