Keppel DC REIT agreed in January 2025 to sell its Basis Bay data center in Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia, as part of a shift toward hyperscale assets, according to the REIT's 2025 annual report. The report, dated March 2026, said the sale of the Malaysia data center was expected to close in the first quarter of 2026; no result has been published since.
The facility is run for Keppel by Basis Bay Services MSC Sdn Bhd and sits in Cyberjaya, one of Malaysia's most developed data center clusters, part of the Multimedia Super Corridor.
