Skybox Datacenters and Prologis are marketing a future data center campus at Atlantic Station, the former NTT site at 2300 West Plano Parkway. Skybox's plan offers build-to-suit construction and an on-site substation expandable to 100 megawatts of power; the 100-megawatt figure describes a proposed ceiling, not a running data center. The site covers about 64 acres.

Plano also has STACK Infrastructure's DFW01 campus, which advertises 80 megawatts across three buildings, and Aligned's DFW-01 and DFW-02 facilities at 2800 Summit Avenue. CoreWeave announced in July 2023 that it would invest $1.6 billion in a data center at 1000 Coit Road. In Allen, CyrusOne lists 77 megawatts of capacity across its DFW3 and DFW4 facilities, with additional land reserved for future development.

Residents in Plano have asked the City Council for stronger rules before further data center growth. Kyle McGinn urged a moratorium or a separate zoning category as the city rewrites its development code, while Shirley Lawson said residents were ready to organize around the 2027 council elections. In Princeton, the City Council agreed on June 23 to consider zoning restrictions on data centers.
