DayOne Nusajaya data center, Johor, Malaysia

DayOne's Nusajaya Tech Park data center campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia, has been operating since 2023, and the research group Epoch AI estimates its newer AI buildings now run about 240 MW of IT power. DayOne says it has more than 478 MW operating across Nusajaya Tech Park and its second Johor campus at Kempas Tech Park.

Epoch AI leaves out the three Phase 1 buildings and counts the Phase 2 buildings, which it estimates hold Nvidia H100 and B300 chips worth about $9.1 billion. Its satellite images from April 2026 showed buildings 3 to 6 complete, buildings 7 and 8 almost done and the shells of 9 and 10 still going up, and it projects the site will reach about 473 MW by the end of 2026.

DayOne is also buying more land nearby: on June 23, 2026, Paragon Globe told Bursa Malaysia it would sell 26.42 hectares of vacant freehold land in Gerbang Nusajaya to DayOne Data Centers Malaysia III for RM398.11 million in cash. Paragon Globe expects the sale to be completed in the second half of 2027. It still needs planning approval from the local authorities, and no details of the data center DayOne plans there have been given.

Johor's data center disputes have centered on sites built beside homes, such as the ZData and NTT plot near Taman Nusa Bayu, where residents protested on Feb. 7, 2026. Kota Iskandar assemblyman Pandak Ahmad said afterward that future data centers should go away from homes, pointing to Nusajaya Tech Park as one of the more appropriate places.

No dispute over DayOne's own campus has been reported; the new land still needs local planning approval, and Epoch AI's latest satellite image of the site is from March 27, 2026.
