STACK Johor (JHB01) data center, Iskandar Puteri, Johor

STACK Infrastructure's JHB01 data center campus is planned for Iskandar Puteri in Johor Bahru, in the southern Malaysian state of Johor, about 10 minutes from the border crossing into Singapore. The developer announced the 220 megawatt campus in January 2025, its first in Malaysia, with two buildings totaling 1 million square feet on 10.8 hectares. The first building is a two-story, 120 megawatt data center, followed by a second 100 megawatt building; STACK scheduled initial delivery for the fourth quarter of 2026.

The campus is to draw power from Malaysia's national grid operator, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, through an on-site substation connected to its high-voltage network. In August 2025, Malaysia's Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz said STACK planned to invest about 7 billion ringgit, roughly $1.66 billion, in the Johor project, though details were scarce, W.Media reported.

Johor has become a large data center hub as development spills over from nearby Singapore, with companies including AirTrunk, Equinix, Keppel, Yondr and NTT already operating sites in the area, four AirTrunk data centers within about 2 kilometers of the STACK site.
